(16) FDU vs (1) Purdue

I was actually able to watch this game go down as I was hanging out on Friday. It was then that my mixology bud inspired this whole cocktail stream. Curating cocktails based on the teams who won against the odds.

First up on this list was Fairleigh Dickinson University and their victory against Purdue. FDU's mascot is the knight, not like the ones who swing swords, but like the ones who prance across a chess board. As such, it felt right to pick a cocktail that also lent a reference to the board game.

Wizard Chess makes its appearance in Harry Potter, but I think it better relates to the "magic" that can appear on the basketball court (no I'm not referring to Orlando Magic, and also no, I'm not referring to Washington Wizards, but just bear with me)

What's unique about this one is the rimming of a liqueur infused whipped cream that excellent accents the drink which calls itself a Whiskey-Cherry-Negroni (tho it's technically a Whiskey-Cherry-Vermouth since most pieces of the Negroni were substituted).

In any case, this cocktail was delightful and it got me thinking what else we could make into whipped
