Tequila and white chocolate is a newfound combination that I've only recently come across. And it's absolutely delectable! When one adds these two flavors together, something beautiful is created!
Well, perhaps more broadly, tequila and cream liqueur is the succulent combo. I recall a time sipping some Tequila Rose which is a strawberry tequila cream liqueur that is also to-die-for. More on that one if I can snag a bottle of it sometime!
This drink however, the Vanilla Rose & White Chocolate Cocktail combines everything together. It comes from the Flavor Bender who also provides a recipe on how to make your own white chocolate liqueur on their website which I've linked below. Originally it is made with a vanilla and rose syrup, but I subbed it out with some rhubarb rose syrup that I made the other week!
I loved sipping this! Those savory agave notes from the tequila completely shine through the white chocolate liqueur and those vanilla and oak notes from our reposado tequila... Mmmm It really hits the spot.
What's best is that it doesn't even end there! The syrup on the bottom was so pleasantly tangy, and taking a deep enough sip combines everything together. In particular, the rose flavor and the tequila is very pleasant. Tequila & Rose, not Tequila Rose (again, a topic for another day).
Now that I'm on this tequila kick, I need more things to try it with. It feels like a whole new world, and I look forward to sharing it with y'all!
