Confused about what kind of plant it is, this yellow cocktail sprouts celery leaves and sports a slice of a cucumber (for some reason... maybe they're vegan?)

There's one contender for this summer's cocktail that I saw more often than all the rest, and that's the Elderflower Spritz!

No... it's the (checks notes) the Hugo Spritz. Wait... who's Hugo? Well, actually it's the St. Germain spritz, but I used St. Elder, so isn't it the St. Elder spritz?

No matter how ya spritz it, it's got elderflower in it.

Woman & Home Magazine makes the claim that this summer spritz is the one that will overtake last year's top contender, the Aperol Spritz (which itself has been the top summer spritz for how long now?)

Anyway, nobody can seem to settle on what ratio to make this spritz with. So I tried it in 3 different ways! It's got anything from gin, lemon juice, or even celery in it.

Overall elderflower and bubbly juice do taste very good together, no matter how you really mix it. I don't know if I can agree to call this the Top Drink of Summer if it hasn't figured itself out yet. Pick a lane y'all, and better luck next year.
