One of these cards tested our knowledge of the Red Apple Martini. Not quite Appletini, and not quite Apple Martini, but some hued-space in between or beyond.
The premise of this martini is to use apple schnapps (as opposed to a sour apple or pucker for a more traditional appletini), or some apple liqueur that doesn't pack the pucker punch. The combination that we used here was Crown Apple (which tastes like apple), Berentzen apple liqueur (which also tastes like apple), and cranberry juice (surprisingly also tastes like... cranberry). The color was that of a red apple and the taste crisp and slightly dry. A very pleasantly approachable martini!
