A drink that is trying so hard to bring forth the rainbow. It sort of looks like a blue layer on top of a yellow layer on top of a red layer. But it could just be teal, urine, and blood for all I can tell. Also, there's an orange wheel and a straw.

When searching for Pride-Themed Cocktails, I feel that there is an excessive number of drinks that fit that category because they have a rainbowed-gradient to them. Me, being the sometimes pretentious individual that I am, scrolled through the seemingly endless stream of them and thought "*pfft* I can make one of those... and better too!"

That being said, I picked one of them. As you can see by the images... perhaps I should step down from my perceived throne.

Personally, I think rainbows are freaking cool (both from an optical point of view and a scientific one) so if that's the symbol that we're gonna use to brandish our pride as we shout our sexualities and genders to the world (both metaphorically and aurally) then I'm all for it!

A couple of things I noticed about this cocktail's build is that the colors are so muted via camera footage compared to how they looked with my eyes. The grenadine had a dark color, but certainly not as dark as blood! The pineapple juice was yellow, but it wasn't noticeably yellow on its own! And the blue curacao, I thought, couldn't possibly float at the top the way my original reference had implied!

Faith was tested. Decisions were made, and then we got this thing, which honestly certainly has a gradient that is reminiscent of a pride flag. It's not exact, but if you tilt your head a bit, squint your eyes and believe, then I think you'll see what I mean!

On the plus side, it tasted pretty good even after you mix it together. That's more than I can say about other layered drinks I've experienced!
