I was under the impression that I had a cocktail named "Purple Haze" in my recipe book, and evidently I was incorrect. I took this as an opportunity to try my hand at cocktail roulette with The Machine, ChatGPT.

At some point I want to do an entire exploration on Mixing with the Machine, so this was a bit of a experiment on my part.

The drink itself was not well balanced, but it did completely nail that purple color, like wowza! It was very elderflower-forward, which is a bit of an acquired taste. Not sure if this is the elderflower flavor itself or whether there's a huge difference in quality between Bols and St. Germain. I'm sure someday, we'll find out for ourselves! The grapefruit juice itself was rather muted, so next time I mix this, I'm likely to add a bit more and perhaps even cut back on the E-flower. Adding that bit of soda water did do an adequate job of muting the flavors to a more tolerable level. Again, still room for improvement in the taste category.
