(10) Penn St vs (7) Texas A&M
Hailing from a place close to home, Penn State has its fair share of hecklers from where I'm from. I can't deny though, that they showcased their talent on the course, and as such, we must celebrate them accordingly.
Penn State's mascot is the Nittany Lion is a refence to the Northeaster mountain lion species that may be found prowling the mountains around Penn State's campus (Mt. Nittany). An evident fan from Dallastown PA created a cocktail to serve at tailgates and events for the team, and they stylized it to match the teams color!
This drink was finally my opportunity to mix some Ole Smoky Sour Razzin Berry moonshine that I had been gifted from my close friends since it is the answer to the blue raspberry required in the drink's original recipe. It also called for raspberry soda, and I found this prebiotic soda (did you know that existed?) at Whole Foods that I thought might work! Prebiotic soda has got some active culture stuff going on in it and apple cider vinegar (the ol' ACV) so I didn't know whether it would mix super well.
In the end, the color was a bit odd, and the ratios needing a bit of tweaking for my taste, but with a quick recovery coming in from the Blue island of Curaçao, we put something together that was sour/sweet and then gone (or at least fitting to be finished).
