The Geeky Chef gives us a nice interpretation of what it is the Jawas are drinking on planet Tatooine. Inspired by the method by which they make their drink, Jawa Juice utilizes some meat in it to emulate the Bantha hides that would be used if you were a Tatooine native.

I did not know where to find bacon ale on short notice, so instead my dearest droid, A2N2 commandeered the skillet to cook up some bacon (some for the rim, and some for the glass). All ingredients were combined with a strip and a half of cooked bacon, shaken, and poured.

When all combined together the drink almost taste kind of cidery. The spice from the rye, the sweetness from the syrup, and the dry grain notes from the ale are very prominent. There's a slight smokiness that's lent from the bacon essence that remains in the glass.

What was wild to me was tasting the bacon left in the shaker after straining out the cocktail. It was delicious! The bacon had absorbed the spice of the rye, the slight sourness from the lemon juice, and the mapleness of the syrup. Yet another reminder of why sweetened bacon is so magical, and so too even if its slightly soggy and doused in alcohol.
