Eggshell brown drink with a light crema in a coupe glass. It appears rather inviting despite the every other indication.

One would think that a bosom caresser would be a rather raunchy and unapproachable topic. As with most things, it's all about context. In the context of cocktails, this phrase represents a classy and spirit-forward flip that leaves enough sweetness to last an evening.

As with other flips, we utilize egg yolk here to add a characteristic yellow hue and a dryness that accompanies the drink's ingredients. Originally made with orange curaçao (of which we substituted for a zesty and sweet Citrónge), this flip has a sweetness that is heightened by the liqueur's addition to a little bit of grenadine.

I originally believed that a drink like this must be served cold and consumed rather quickly. However, later in the stream, we went back to taste it after it had warmed up a bit, and it was still good! When it warms up, the dryness intensifies and the sweet flavors dim. A note of caution though, since this has an egg yolk in it, perhaps you'd like to save this one as your last drink of the evening. Lest you are tempted to have half a dozen's worth of flips in your system.
