A deeply black colored cocktail that is apparently yellowish-brown under a bright light. It's emo sweet.

So, our first attempt at a purple cocktail was attempting to reproduce the Prince inspired Purple Rain cocktail, again by the Tipsy Bartender.

The cocktail in question, Purple Rain, was to be our flagship violet contender as we continued to traverse the hues of the visible spectrum. Evidently, this one requires a bit of skill, and our attempt at recreating that magical lavender precipitation turned into something quite dark. This emo version which I feel more appropriately represents how I feel when I'm being rained on, I call, Black Magic. Because it magically turned a dark color.

Personally, it is was too sweet for met to drink comfortably, but I blame myself for that after trying to recover the drinks color by just adding more food coloring to it. (Yea, I'm not a magician, just a mixologist).
