A red-amber colored liquid sits in an old-fashioned glass. A single cubular iceberg floats in the middle, and atop that icy island lay a single banana slice. *Calming Ambience*

I absolutely love boulevardiers. The combo of whiskey, Campari, and sweet vermouth goes almost unmatched in my personal repertoire. But remember, in the world of cocktails, a variation, even so slight, can be a game changer.

This iteration of the banana boulevardier splits our Campari proportions with a banana spirit allowing for a little ripeness to make its way into an already smooth libation. I'm biased when I say this, but this is wonderful. Just the right amount of fruit, and a slight increase in the booze-level (since the banana liqueur I used was 99 proof). I continued to sip on this after stream ended and had enough drunken energy to do all the dishes even after the 3-hour cocktail session.

Red Bull may give you wings, but a Banana Boulevardier puts the Wonder back in Bread - Except the bread is a classic cocktail and the Wonder is, you guessed it... banana.

You get the point.
